There are basically two ways to get rid of a bump on the nose. One way is called an injection rhinoplasty where we camouflage the bump with fillers placed above and below the bump which creates a straight profile. The alternate way is to remove the bump with traditional rhinoplasty surgery where we take down the bump to lower than the most projecting point of the profile.

How do fillers get rid of the bump on the nose?

Fillers get rid of a bump on the nose by filling in the area above and below the bump. While some may think adding to the nose makes it look bigger it actually has the opposite effect because it straightens the bridge. We can also use filler to project the tip which makes a bump look smaller.

How long does it take for nose fillers to settle in?

If we use the injection rhinoplasty technique, using filler, it only takes a few minutes to do and we see immediate results. All swelling takes about 5 to 7 days to settle down. Surgery, on the other hand, has a longer healing time.
